Privacy Policy — Puzzles For Me
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Puzzles For Me is a mobile puzzle game developed by Hebert. This policy explains how the current Android and iOS versions handle information. For privacy questions or requests, email puzzles.for.me.free@gmail.com.
Information stored on your device
The app stores game progress, statistics, streaks, time played, achievements, preferences, and settings on your device. It does not offer user accounts of its own and does not synchronize game progress or statistics with a server. Earned achievements can be synchronized with Google Play Games on Android or Game Center on iOS, as described below. Android backup of app data is disabled. On iOS, whether app data is included in a device or iCloud backup may depend on your device settings.
Reset Progress in the app removes saved progress and statistics while retaining your preferences and earned achievements. You can remove locally stored app data through your device settings or by uninstalling the app, subject to any device backups you may have. This does not remove achievements recorded on your Google Play Games or Game Center profile.
Analytics on Android and iOS
Both versions use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand use of the app and improve its games and features. The app reports events such as opening, starting, completing, or leaving a game or level; using a hint or restart; and changing a setting. Event details can include the game, difficulty, level, duration, hints used, mistakes, the setting changed and its new value, app version, and app language.
Firebase Analytics can also collect data automatically, including app activity, an app instance identifier, and device and app information. The app does not set a user ID. Its Android configuration disables collection of the Android advertising ID and advertising personalization. On iOS, the app uses FirebaseAnalytics/Core, which does not include advertising ID collection.
There is currently no in-app option to disable Firebase Analytics or erase analytics information already sent to Google. For questions or requests concerning this information, contact us at the email address below.
Google Play Games on Android
The Android version uses Google Play Games Services for achievements. If you use Google Play Games on your device, Play Games may sign you in automatically when the app starts. The app itself never asks you to sign in, and you can play without Play Games.
While you are signed in, the app sends Play Games the achievements you have earned and reads the achievements already recorded on your Play Games profile, so that they also appear in the app after a reinstall or on another device. The app does not send your game progress, statistics, or settings to Play Games. Play Games may show its own notifications, for example when you sign in or earn an achievement.
Google Play Games Services is provided by Google, which processes information about its use, including your Play Games profile and the achievements recorded on it, under the Google Privacy Policy. You can manage your Play Games profile through Google Play Games and your Google Account settings. Google Play Games Services is not used on iOS.
Game Center on iOS
The iOS version uses Apple Game Center for achievements. If you are already signed in to Game Center on your device, the app attempts to sign you in silently when it starts. It does not show a Game Center sign-in sheet, and you can play without Game Center.
While you are signed in, the app sends Game Center the achievements you have earned and reads the achievements already recorded on your Game Center profile, so that they also appear in the app after a reinstall or on another device. The app does not send your game progress, statistics, or settings to Game Center. Game Center may show an achievement completion banner.
Game Center is provided by Apple, which processes information about its use, including your Game Center profile and achievements, under the Apple Privacy Policy. You can manage your Game Center profile through your device settings.
Wi-Fi match on your local network
Who Am I? offers a Wi-Fi match against another person whose device is on the same local network. It is used only when you choose Create room or Join room, and the game against the app's own opponent works without it. The two devices connect directly to each other over the local network. The match does not use the internet, a server of ours, or an account.
A room you create can be announced on your local network (Bonjour on iOS, network service discovery on Android) so a nearby device can find it. The announcement contains the game, the app's protocol and content version, a random room identifier, and a short room tag derived from it. It does not contain your name, your device name, or the room's access code. Anyone on the same network may see that a room is open. You can also join by typing the host's IP address, port, and access code, or by scanning the room's QR code.
Each room uses a new access code and QR secret that are never sent over the network themselves. To connect, the devices first exchange a short unencrypted handshake containing the game, the protocol and content version, the join method, the room identifier, and authentication values that do not reveal the access code or QR secret. After that handshake succeeds, everything they exchange is encrypted. During the match they exchange only what it needs: the questions asked, their answers, final guesses, turn passes, the turn time limit, and at the end the character each player chose. A Wi-Fi match is not saved, does not count toward statistics or achievements, and its contents are not sent to Firebase Analytics, Google Play Games, or Game Center.
On iOS, the system asks for permission to find and connect to devices on your local network the first time a Wi-Fi match needs it. You can change this permission at any time in your device settings.
Camera
The camera is used only to scan the QR code of a friend's Wi-Fi match room, and permission is requested only when you open the QR scanner. Camera images are processed on your device to read the code. They are not recorded, saved, or uploaded by the app. If you decline, you can still join a room by typing its address and access code or by searching your network. You can change camera permission at any time in your device settings.
Notifications
Daily trivia reminders are scheduled locally on your device. The app uses your notification setting, selected local time, and localized notification text to schedule them. It does not use a remote push service for these reminders. You can change the reminder setting in the app or manage notification permission in your device settings.
External links
If you tap a YouTube or TikTok button on a game help screen, the app opens that service with a search related to the game. Those services handle your visit under their own privacy policies.
Purchases and advertising
The current version does not process purchases or subscriptions and does not show advertisements. This policy will be updated if those features are added.
Sharing, retention, and deletion
On Android and iOS, analytics information is sent to Google to provide Firebase Analytics. While you are signed in to Google Play Games on Android or Game Center on iOS, your earned achievements are sent to Google or Apple, respectively, to record them on your platform profile. Game progress and statistics are otherwise kept locally and are not uploaded by the app. During a Wi-Fi match, the match data described above goes only to the other player's device on your local network.
Our Google Analytics property is configured to retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. The retention period for user-level data resets when there is new activity from the same app instance. These settings do not apply to standard aggregated reports. Google deletes data covered by the retention setting through its periodic deletion process.
Reset Progress removes locally saved progress and statistics, but does not erase analytics information previously sent to Google or achievements recorded on your Play Games or Game Center profile. To make a privacy or deletion request, email puzzles.for.me.free@gmail.com.
Intended audience
Puzzles For Me is intended for people aged 9 and older. It contains logic and reasoning games and does not contain content restricted to adults. The analytics and platform achievement practices described above also apply when a child uses the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app or its data practices change. The date at the top indicates the most recent update.
